Here's a little more information to let you know about the Dance:
Sacred Circle Dance is a world-wide, loosely-related community of people who believe in the restoration of folk dance as a manner of gathering people together. We try to keep and enhance the traditions that make us a special community. Generally speaking, circles are open. All ages are welcome. The facilitator and participants shape the specific focus of each dance community. Some Circles are highly meditative, some energetic, and some gather just for the fun of it. Dances come from folk and religious traditions of all kinds. Newly birthed dances will also be presented at times. Quite often dances related to the season of the year are presented. Each Dance is taught and time is spent to aquaint dancers with the spirit and background of the dance if it is known.
